Here we are again the snows cleared off so we now have Lincolnshires prime export endless mud , still pottering around but had one of those vaguely surreal conversations with our GP the other day or should i say we had a trail of emails as it would appear they dont even talk to us anymore . Having rung the doctors earlier to ask about the results of other halfs tests ??? We are instructed to go onto Ask GP all results are there...
But its empty
Then you havent had any tests
They were done over a fortnight ago , both ends and biopsies
The request was sent in January , you cant have had the tests yet .
Could we speak to the doctor please
You will have to speak to ask doctor .
Couple of hours later email from doctor we have found your test results , you were given them at the time
He was knocked out and i wasnt allowed in , so how did they give him the results ?
He will have been told and given paperwork
The paperwork is a sheet telling him to contact his GP in 10 days for the results
Well we cant tell him anything other than he is no longer on the cancer pathway , he will have to wait for a clinic appointment .
So what is happening about his other small problem , that you insisted is so important that you asked if hes considered palliative care?
He has no other problems

Oh the referral from November , well thats up to you to chase up we just send in a request .
Who do we contact , we have no idea who or where he has been referred to

So endeth the contact with Ask GP , i then spent a happy hour on the phone chasing up his referral , he should have a telephone appointment sometime before April ...ho hum
That's dreadful service. If he didn't ha e you to speak up for him they would get away with murder.
ReplyDeleteTry finding your MPs email address and just put it in the CC for every encounter but without comment. Sooner or later the MP will wonder why he keeps getting weird emails. Or, perhaps sooner, the GP will panic!

ReplyDeleteOh dear the Flis thing. I had a flis stalker when I had my blog, returning to the same comments again and again, then emailing many times, becoming quite vulgar too. I blocked them and had a few emails with a different address who I suspected was the same person. I have a different blog and email address now (obviously I'm not publicising my blog here) and am thankful to be rid of them. I think John Grey at Going Gently may have the same flis. Blogland can be lovely until it gets nasty.

I can assure you I'm not either of those, as far as I can see from your name on here you don't have a blog so how could I be stalking you? I don't know of any other blogs you visit apart from the fact there is someone of your name who visits John's blog and you confirm that it is indeed you. Perhaps you should be more careful of how you accuse people, whether that be accusing them of being a stalker or that they are impersonating someone else.
ReplyDeleteI haven't said that you yourself are a stalker, only that there is someone with the same name who is. Anyone can use any name they choose on the internet. I experienced stalking myself on my blog and by email by someone with the name of Flis as you will see if you read my comment above.
I have no interest in continuing this conversation with you, as you appear to revisit comments several times I have my suspicions as to who you are. Any further comments from you won't be read or answered by me.

Hi Kate...well I feel I should just step in here to defend the real flis.She is my friend in real life and as I said before she is a lovely person.She would never call anyone...a nasty piece of scum,like the troll flis comment.As for Jeanie saying...she makes smutty comments about her thatch...she is talking about one of her rescue dogs whos name is thatch!!This troll flis usually leaves nasty remarks on blogs that the real lovely flis enjoys and comments on.xx
