La La La

Well where to begin...lol
Once again im navigating the swamps of the housing department, with the evil one in tow . Had an interesting meeting with them .

So you turned our flat offer down.

Grunt

We will not help you again , heres a list of private landlords . But you will require a deposit and someone as guarantor . We should be able to find temporary accommodation , but it could be anywhere in Lincolnshire .

 Grunt

Now at this point I totally agree with the lady at the council , why the hell should anyone help him, he turned a flat down , which he forgot to tell us , but i have to grind my teeth and put the case forward .

Are you aware of his disabilities?

Err does he have any ?

They should be listed on his files that you have

She then actually looks through the notes  and admits that she hadnt seen this part of his files and that she was unaware that he should always have an advocate with him and that he is partially sighted so that all documents have to be in large print . So his housing list removal is going to appeal ..

Then another day off work is needed to sort out advocacy for him , I explained what had happened and another charity agreed after a few phone calls to work with him , ive made them very aware about his drug problems and that he will just use them and us then push everyone away , i also found out hes being supposed to be getting daycare psychiatric treatment ..something else he forgot to mention .

So hes still on the sofa , hes eating us out of house and home and creeping round his dad being perfect son .

So for therapy i spent a whole 80p on books i dont need ...lol

Whatever you do to help YB - please don't be a guarantor for this young man - you work too hard to end up being responsible for his debts xx

    1. If you want to be really scared try reading "Making the Owl Service" written by Alan Garner's three children during the filming.

  4. Oh, I remember the Owl Service on TV. Loved it but my mum couldn't understand why I would watch such a weird programme. Luckily for you, with you working sporadically and his dad disabled I doubt if you'd qualify as guarantor for a flat for YB so you won't be put in that position. I hope something gets sorted out soon; you can't afford to keep missing work and feeding such an ingrate. Tell whoever you see next that he does have other family and ask for them to be contacted, they should have to shoulder the responsibilty too whether they (and YB) like it or not, you can't be expected to do it all. It's bad enough for us trying to get the right help and benefits etc for my Aspergers son, but at least he's no trouble and is more than willing to assist in the process. My heart goes out to you having to deal with all this again. hugs, Helen xx

    1. sadly his mother is ill and has been in and out of hospital for the last 6 months so can do without yet more trouble.
Grandad is terminally ill , so his older brother who cares for grandad just wants to throttle him and his Aunty has finally seen a bit of sense and cut his money off, but has been sending endless facebook messages to Mr Bah Humbug railing at him for the 2.5k she says he owes her that the little swine has scrounged off her in the last 6 months , causing yet more stress. You just cant begin to imagine the trouble he has caused and hes sitting here smirking at me everyday .

    2. I could feel sorry for him with all the family issues if he wasn't such a pain in the proverbial. I bet there are times you would love to slap that smirk off his face. I hope something gets sorted for him soon so you can get him out of your home. You also have enough to contend with without him adding to the burden.
