So himself had his monthly trip to the blood folks the other day it didnt start well when you couldnt get near the disabled parking or the drop off points due to the weather , so he had to do snow on his crutches . Anyway he come back in a foul mood because he knew doing that amount of walking would leave him in agony . Now he comes to the good bit , the little hijab wearing blood lady asks him if its alright if she does it or does he object and want someone else ? This baffled him and he said he didnt care who saw him , so he asked her why and it seems a lot of the gammon fraternity refuse treatment from her . He was horrified by this but i set him off by saying well you do look the part . Epic rant started but i pointed out your the right age your nearly bald and you wear the outfit . Theres nobody less of a gammon but i also pointed out that a lot of his friends have a fondness for flags and ranting about immigrants and a few family members. What is the world coming to .

ReplyDeletethats one of those cases where they do nothing for the fear of raising racial tensions , but a sadist is a sadist regardless of religion or skin colour
DeleteWell I have learnt something today after googling what's a gammon! Must lead a sheltered life in the South West lol.
ReplyDeleteOne of the funniest conversations I ever had (although not whilst it was taking place) was when I called out a woman at my club for refusing to use the chemists because the pharmacist wore a full mask and veil, and the woman "couldn't see what her expression was". I'm not sure why you need to see that, surely you just drop your prescription then pick it up (although our pharmacy staff are all quite friendly)? Anyway. after she stalked out at the audacity of me questioning her, I never saw her again. That week lockdown and mask wearing was brought in (which is what made it amusing after the fact), so the club closed and when it re-opened I decided it wasn't for me. I did call in a few months ago as I was passing and she had recently stormed out because someone had sat in 'her' seat and the leader just told her that there were plenty more chairs so why not just sit somewhere else?
ReplyDeletenever hard of a gammon and had to google it. I don't object to people based on skin, attire or origin but I like to see their faces tbh.
