So just for a change , i decided to get a really bad batch of shingles , just to be fun i have it bilaterally , i usually heal pretty quickly but this time its being a mess , oh to have a bath but im stuck with a shower room . For a change nothing got done and nobody noticed till they ran out of socks , so im playing catch up with a very dodgy leg and sores where you really dont want them . Im sort of do a bit sit a bit, with thoughtless comments from himself and sarcastic son trying to hide. Tried to get a doctors appointment for antivirals , Ask GP opens at 8 its closed and fully booked by 8.03. Left a message, it says it can take 5 days to answer , nobody has answered . So im past the use of antivirals now . This may drag on a bit but im not contagious it just takes its own sweet time to heal .
But at least ive had time to stare out the window at the angry wrens , the family of kites and the crows and jackdaws that seem to be squabbling all day . Highlight was my son saying youd better come and have a look at this, Something new for my wildlife collection , a male Muntjac deer in the garden he seems to be quite happy down there but Old Cat keeps trying to stalk him , hes currently having a bit of a laydown in the old greenhouse base . Im just hoping the moron two doors down doesnt spot him or he will be round to kill it for his freezer
I've never had shingles but gather it's incredibly painful. Having a family that doesn't help and being unable to get medical assistance is the pits. I wouldn't feel obliged to do anything, let them wash their own socks. I hope you feel better soon.
