Weird

A few months ago my daughter designated me as Weird , ive never really thought of myself as weird , but i suppose she now spends so much time with her partners family that I fail in comparison to normal people like them .  Grandson asked why my house is so messy "because i like chaos , its my comfortable " that shut him up.
Today im creating utter chaos by dragging out the freebie Singer I repaired but havent had a chance to play with machine . thats a tomorrow project i will run it to its limits to see how much it can do . shopping bags for foodbank  and to give away at carboot this summer , these will be practically no cost other than time , ive a stack of curtains and furnishing samples to use up and endless bags of weird coloured thread to use up .
Sarcastic son has commented that hes decided my funeral pyre will be made up of knitting patterns and craft books , i have pointed out that he needs to check on ebay before doing so as he may be torching his inheritance, later found him looking up how to burn a body and knitting patterns..lol  he insists hes just preparing for Corona virus but he did  get designated most likely to end up a serial killer in his school yearbook so maybe i should worry? 
I have also succeeded in baffling Mr Bah Humbug , he opened the wardrobe to find a purple ball gown , that generated a wtf moment . well it was 30p from the jumble last week it fits, its glorious , i will never have any occasion to wear it , but what the hell im weird they had all better get used to it

Technology

So yesterday i pottered off for the ritual nurse visit  diabetes checks ,  somewhat oddly my blood pressure is low and so was my blood sugar , she seemed quite chuffed . I was more concerned and pointed out that this just doesnt happen , ever .  Oh well book an appointment if your that concerned , heres the leaflet for the new System its fully automated online now . Ask Doctor has arrived we barely have to answer the phone now . I pointed out that it doesnt work on my ancient ipad , but its specifically designed for the android system comes the reply everyone uses that now .  Errrr not me , i have a dumb phone and its for emergencies and incoming calls only. Met by a totally blank expression and oh im sure you know someone who can book it for you . Not the point really is it .
I did ask why i was summoned in a month early for my check up , apparently they have nothing on at the moment so are pushing ahead with stuff . The place was deserted nobody in the waiting room very odd its usually packed . Then it clicked , Ask Doctor has been running for 2 weeks already .  We are the rural back end of nowhere , packed with the very frail and elderly, many who have no online access , many cant use the internet , many have dumb phones as well . If you phone the surgery all you get is Ask Doctor , you cant speak to a human and it just takes you in circles back to going online to book anything .  How long till this latest dumb scheme kills someone ? 

Political Anomalies

Im sorry ive gone all political again due to a couple of questions raised by my peculiar taste in media reading .
Question one : Why are they all ranting about the pay raise for the House of Lords per day that takes the pay to more than a single person gets a month on Universal Workhouse ?  Im sure they all deserve said pay rise . But isnt this easily cured , just apply a benefits cap to the Lords or even in a spirit of communism make it a means tested benefit.  Then of course none of them will bother to show up , except those who use it as a care home for parking aged politicos for the day .
Question Two : Eugenics , why are those who really shouldnt be allowed to breed and who nobody in their right mind would be willing to breed with so keen on eugenics for everyone else , perchance are they a superior brand of weasel ?
Question Three: Do you see the comparison between Boris and Henry the Eighth ?  Surrounded by sycophants and with an ever growing ego . I found it chilling when he sat round that cabinet  table with his acolytes getting them to recite his campaign pledges.

Neglect

Watch it shes got that head on , im beginning to think that Himself and sarcastic son are ganging up on me ..lol ..I think its more we have been stuck together far to much this winter , due to scrimping to pay for vehicles.  the weather, more of which i gather we can expect this weekend. I think im just bored out of my mind and sick of all the crap in the house due to the leaky brick sheds they cant repair till Spring .  No its not a good day to repair his shed roof either !!!
Munchkin is joining us for half term , having already scared his new childcare givers away . they just havent grasped that you just feed him endlessly and nod your head and hes quite easy going , hes just not a child who wants organised time , hes very independent.   I will provide him with a sewing machine and he can amuse himself for hours . That and supervised ipad  will be good if the weathers foul , if not he will doubtless be out the door and haunting the village for his old mates if it resembles sunshine . Thats a thought hes eleven, grandads shed repairs shouldnt be beyond him , bonus . Im sure him and his equally practical mate will manage with a bit of supervision .  I always think practical children should be encouraged at all times . 
Thats the thing with raising boys , some are academic but useless, others are practical, others are good at painting your nails .  Why do we try to ram them into a one size fits all mould . Modern education is geared way to far in that direction , where exam results are the only badge of merit , some kids are hands on practical people .  Im more impressed by a man who can fix stuff and grow food , maybe im just an old hippy at heart

Its A Tad Breezy

Its a lovely day for looking out of the window . Himself is asking for a slap . can i not go out and repair the felt on his shed that is flapping in the gale , guess the answer to that one . But theres thousands of pounds of tools in there getting ruined if it rains , he hasnt been in there for at least 2 years so id be more concerned about the mice getting wet . There was enough grumping yesterday when i got the boys to take down his big portable radio mast , what will he do ? Please bear in mind theres half a dozen smaller masts that he can plug himself into , plus he has a battery back up system for when the power goes out . MEN!!
In the spirit of being prepared theres a pork hock slow cookered overnight , now pulled and added to a pint of gravy , stuffing and apple sauce also ready , just popping some part cooked baguettes in with the skin off the hock for crackling ,  then thats tea sorted if the power goes you just wrap the slow cooker in towels it will happily stay warm for hours that way .
Just heard the loft hatch pop up and i need to go and tape the letterbox down . Its quite warm so no need for the heating . I can go and crochet till dark and then an early night I think , hope everyones keeping safe .........Update next doors trampoline has just smashed through the fence , its there fence so no worries im sure the cats will enjoy it

The Excitement

It was a Jumble Sale Week , two in one day . Another cat one with mountains of stuff  and then a church nearly new out in the villages , So i came home with a huge shoe box full of Thimbles , something i dont collect but i had spotted a few nice Edwardian ones among all the white bone china and i was well pleased on sorting through them all to find some that are desirable on ebay , even if im ever allowed to use it again. They dont take up much room so thats a bonus .  More books on 1930s crafts and the village Jumble on the way home yielded a nice big Laura Ashley cushion . Total spent a whole £4 way over budget , but the munchkin and his mum turned up and he was starved and needed cake .
We were feeling brave and ventured to Grimsby yesterday , glorious sunshine with an icy biting wind , sat on the seafront watching brave folks walking their dogs while we nursed a coffee . Ventured to the Value For Money warehouse and got a mountain of different cereals ready for the school holidays .Popped to the market ,  pork hocks were £2 each , theyres enough for a decent dinner on them so a couple have made it into the freezer . Large bags of bones £1 so its make stock day today .
All the swans have left the river and moved onto the fields theres hundreds of them having a social down there , in an act of mean spirited cruelty when one of the Southerners walking his dogs asked about using the public footpath down there i told him it would be fine , the swans really love dogs .

Brexit 1

So now we have Brexited , well that was a bit of an anti climax , not a firework or a party to be seen on the edge of the Fen . Meanwhile the world thinks the whole country was out partying in the streets as all the news crews headed to Parliament Square for Nigel Farage and his shenanigans, the news crews probably outnumbered the party goers , not because there arent lots of Brexit supporters  but holding a street party in January in London wasnt going to do it for most .  Just grateful that the bloke over the road who must own a firework factory is a Remainer and didnt terrorise everyones pets yet again.
Boris has been trying his aspirational speeches  , i have wondered if Cummings has inserted something akin to an electric shock dog trainer about his person somewhere,  that could explain the sudden arm flinging and muttering that keep happening.
For shit and giggles I thought id try to take the Habitual Residency Test on YouGov  it would seem i have no right to be in this country and must leave straight away , excellent not sure where im supposed to go as i was born and bred here, Im buggered due to my lack of a passport and my lack of medical records lost in the computerisation debacle . So when they decide to deport me will i just fly round the world as every other country decides im not theirs? Or will they put me in a nice warm immigration center with TV and 3 meals a day ? got to be better than being in a residential care home.  Thanks to the problem with my medical records i may also find im not eligible for NHS treatment as it does say that if you dont have continuity of records to show you have been here long enough to qualify they can refuse you . I merely have a page from 1991 and one from 93 plus the last 3 years  ...ho hum  i will bring you the fun filled joys of Bexit from time to time

Potter

Im trying to make an effort to clear the munchkins bedroom out ready for the school holidays , so this morning ive donated his old school stuff back to his old school , just cut the name tags out and dropped them off . Then on the local facebook they were asking for egg boxes at the former post office so ive dropped a small mountain off .  Huge bag of rags to the local charity shop , lots more stuff to get rid of this will keep me busy for the next few days .  Ive mountains need taking to the skip once the weather picks up .  Lots of boxes broken down to fill the new clean cardboard bin theyve given us , its a full size bin they empty once a month and ours is always full . sometimes it seems that recycling can be a full time chore . Must sort out a bag of books to go to Tescos while im at it .
I would like to get on with the decorating but its just not warm enough to dry paint yet .
Got my seeds from lidl this week im concentrating on lots of beans this year , mainly bush beans its so windy here , but im off to cut some hazel uprights for my runner row as well , saves buying bamboo canes and they last longer , ive some more hazel bushes waiting to go in at the back it just seems to be such a useful hedging plant plus the bonus of nuts .
We had a visit from a little man the other day from Western Powers sub contractor for branch removal , theyre off to drop all their wood chippings here that they generate round the village , always worth asking as its so useful as weed suppressant and it stops the top soil blowing away .  Plus as the bloke said it saves them money on dragging it away , next door is having all the logs im having the chippings .  Sometimes it pays being the first house in the village .
I gather we Brexit tomorrow , wouldnt think it will make a jot of difference out here in the wilderness unless we have the usual idiots launching fireworks to upset everybodys animals , havent seen a hint of a party advertised rather odd when this area is a true blue leave area , though maybe January isnt the best time for street parties .
Another little job i need to do , price a chainsaw !  i need an old biddy sized one ..lol  im getting bored and apart from a gammy leg that it looks like im stuck with , i see no reason to give up doing stuff myself when i can !!!

Toss a coin

Well I found a decent cat jumble sale Saturday , 4 books , 4 items of clothing a sunflower tapestry kit and a pair of 60s curtains latter . i had managed to spend a whole £3.00 . 2 mint Kath Kidston Stitch and Sew , never used still with the template packs in cellophane , rather glad i never got these gifted , they are visually beautiful but the projects are a bit too basic. Read them and pass them on in some way.   The other books were a Hairy Bikers i havent read and a glorious 70s craft book , im looking at starting a new shelf for vintage craft books , but this will mean clearing a shelf and theyre all full , no matter how i try and i take a shopper full of books to Tesco every fortnight my shelves are still full.
 My complete summer wardrobe in 4 items..lol one shirt needs a button not that im ever short of those and another 3 tops . The curtains are rather gorgeous screen printed floral that will do as summer curtains in the dining room . The Tapestry sunflower kit is a stare at and ponder, its a cushion front , i keep promising myself that i wont start anything else and that i wont die till i finish all the stuff i already have started  , that however would probably need me to be immortal...lol

Im also having a WTF is wrong with men week , a friend has had a horrific xmas , her husband decided to do a runner because she was in hospital with pneumonia and complications and wasnt expected to live , he abandoned her mentally handicapped adult son , told no one and just did a bunk . To say shes bitter twisted and planning his demise is an understatement to be honest i think its all thats kept her going , but we do get to talk a bit more now so thats a small plus .

On the other side of the coin we had a visit from one of Mr Bah Humbugs mates , who we havent seen for a while and hes usually a regular visitor . His partner and I have always been a bit on gritted teeth , we just had nothing in common other than our partners brotherly love affair . He announced that he and his partner are no longer a couple but are sharing a house because they cant afford to get seperate houses or buy the other partner out .  His partner has been seriously ill for over a year and its been grim at times  Shes just gone back to work but they came to a parting because shes been getting him in debt ? By now i was biting my tongue , this man is 50 and he spends most weekends going to concerts all over Europe or out with his mates he thinks hes still a teenager .  Hes bragging how hes seeing a much younger woman and popping the little blue pills like theyre going out of fashion. Out with his mates doing loads of coke and alcohol every weekend , lifes one big party .
When hed gone Mr Bah Humbug looked at me and said sometimes he doesnt realise how damned lucky he is that ive stayed around . I did point out that mens terror of mortality is what causes the problems and his mate will crash and burn at which point if hees lucky his ex will pick up the pieces , if hes not lucky he will end up with no one once the party ends .

Countryside Pursuits

Is there anybody out there?  the fog this morning is really thick and lingering  after a couple of days of glorious sunshine its back to normal its been so nice ive strimmered a big chunk of the front garden , grass hasnt stopped growing at all this year but its been under water a lot of the time , so ive had to reseed a big chunk thats died and strimmer the rest , the grounds still waterlogged so you cant mow , sad fact the grass is pathering into the house but its better than tripping over lumps in the dark.
Im busy tring to keep two irate cats from wrecking the place , theyre syndicate shooting on the fields behind us , the locals are responsible gun owners the rich tossers who come up from London for the syndicates arent choosy and will shoot anything that moves. on a bright point it may be each other the fogs so thick. But its yet another fact that farmland has to be made to pay and it brings income in . Thursdays is fox hunting day we only get them a couple of times a year around here , last year they managed to get the hound pack into a Happy chicken farm enclosure but best of all the pack buggered off and ended up imprisoned in the local school playground  . Shall we just say our local hunt is small, caught bugger all before the ban and catches bugger all now .  In fact the hounds just seem to do as they please with a bloke with a red coat riding round swearing at them and a couple of blokes on quad bikes chasing them . Weird pastime but the horses seem to enjoy it .
We have had planning notices put up on the field next to us , it seems they want to take the disused grain dryer down and put two houses on the site , once again its a big site and no doubt the houses are yet more country palaces . Doesnt mean a lot , planning permission just puts the land price up and the cost of demolishing the grain dryer means it wont happen anytime soon , the farmer who is applying for all the planning permissions around the village is retiring , we arent farm land here these are all grazing fields on the huge clay old riverbank its not crop land so it doesnt have a great deal of value. Little point in anyone objecting on the grounds of their being no infrastructure if the local council object they just appeal to central government who rubber stamp it .....ho hum

Be Glad When Its Done

January is just dragging its feet endlessly , though it looks like it may be fit to go outside today if i can escape from Mr Bah Humbug , ive lost the days of the week altogether and the diary hasnt a single thing in it,  unusual for there to be no appointments for Drs and hospitals for himself .
Im drawing up the spring list for budget stuff i need to find secondhand , theres some large stuff this time we need a new bed or beds if i have my way , our bedroom is quite wide and we could get a double and single bed in their easily which would make life so much easier , but getting him to listen is hard work plus my £60 a week doesnt go far .
This is a bleak time of year financially , the car needs an MOT and its insurance is due , we have to pay this as one lump sum as we have learned the hard way not to pay monthly due to the DWP wars in 2017 . The penalties you incur on defaulting on a monthly direct debit are horrendous and our income isnt secure, if your disabled on the new system it never is, but because we live in the wilderness we have to have transport , theres no bus service no taxis no anything here. Ambulance transport for himself is notoriously bad in this area .  Its made very clear by our GPS that they dont do any home visits these days , last time he broke some ribs i did ask and they said he must use call connect the little buses you must order weeks in advance but he cant get on and off them . I ended up with a nurse call which was great she  showed me how to listen to his chest to see if the ribs popping had done any lung damage and explained at what point to just call an ambulance . But then told me the ambulance would probably be between 2 hours and 5 hours because broken bones are not an emergency. Theres been a bit of scandal locally about this as theres been a lot of elderly who have fallen and had to wait hours , they do get a paramedic out to them quite fast but getting them to hospital is a problem as all the ambulances are parked outside A&E  unable to drop their patients off because its full to capacity . We have a 500 bed general hospital that covers a vast area and a tiny A&E they are constantly throwing up more and more houses here but they never increase the bed capacity of the hospital . Nothing new from a UK government point of view

Glorious Sunday

Looking out the window at glorious sunshine with a big black cloud to the left , gorgeous contrast , so much prettier than the endless grey murk we have seemed to have for weeks . The cats playing peek a boo from the outside windowsill just to add more muddy footprints to the window .  Overslept this morning so im in the dog house , Mr Grumpy is sat there with a face like hes chewed a wasp , he had managed to get himself to the throne and ended up stuck there shouting for assistance and i didnt hear him "for hours"  the cat did eventually come and wake me up...lol  I hardly think hed been there for hours .
He wanted to go to sand racing at Mablethorpe today but due to the tides it was starting at 5am so ive ruined his day , im such a failure as a carer . Its going to be a long sour Sunday im sure , in fact he may sulk for days .  Theres a table top sale in the next town that we would have called in on the way back , so that has gone out of the window as well . so if it stays nice and sunny i may have a potter in the garden out of the way . If its bleedin freezing out their , i may retreat upstairs to sort through a huge pile of stuff daughter dropped off yesterday for me to sort through . Clothes etc , im turning into the family recycling center , bras to the bra charity . Stuff thats fit to car boot in the Spring pile anything that can be repurposed in another pile , things that need just a button or a stitch to the mending pile . Ive a big pile of single sheets that can be turned into king size i remember how to do flat seams from school an awful lot of years ago , plus other half tears sheets beyond repair when he nightmares. So im sure i can manage to be productive somehow .

I will apologise to those whose comments have been lost , while trying to remove a spam robot that was going to make me millions from various perversions it eradicated months if not years of comments on posts , fortunately not those from the last couple of days and it seems to be fine now . Blogger has done this once before annoying but not the end of the world .   In an update the comments have returned after 2 days minus mr pervert !

Royally P O

So whats all the fuss and drama over Harry and Meghan not wanting to be members of the Firm ? In all honesty would anyone want to join in with that lot ?  The Queen is the spider in the center of the web , probably with good intentions she houses and feeds her adult children keeping them dutifully royal , you only have to look at Edward and andrew to see that theyre stuck in permanent reverse , imaginary jobs to make them seem useful, a few worthy charity jobs , its a tradition dating to Victorian times and sadly the Royals have never moved beyond that . Minor royals have always been traditionally a bit thick and dutiful, grateful for the queen keeping them on the Firm .
Once they were huge celebrities but celebrity has moved on, its all Instagram and Twitter and marketing . The only reason people recognise the queen these days is from her picture on banknotes theres more excitement over some sucker lipped influencer dating a reality show nobody .
So along comes Meghan , self made very media savvy and steals our prince , hes never been happier , hes an adoring Labrador husband trotting one step behind his exotic missus , wondering how the gangly ginger baldy pulled this bit of  stuff , long may this last .
  William has produced 3 kids so theirs no need for a spare heir , wouldnt be surprised if he pops out another this year before Kates ovarys shrivel and die , bit of positive publicity and all that .
There was all the squealing about Harry and Meghan not spending Xmas with granny but in the great modern compromise they went to her mothers this year , better than spending time with dodgy Uncle Andy , freezing and huddled over a 2 bar electric fire in Norfolk , then exterminating the local wildlife on boxing day.
So i expect theres been a bit of a showdown ,  they arent needed by the Firm so off to somewhere warm and with good plumbing and internet they are going , yes they will be an endless embarrassment as members of modern celebrity culture . But good luck to them

Kettle of Fish

Everytime we think all the drama in life is over for a while something happens
Which Idiot gave Trump a drone for Xmas?  While most of his minders were still on their xmas holidays hes done a stunner  , hopefully they took the nuke codes with them or put them in a safe knowing he couldnt remember the combination .
As a friend in America pointed out , he thinks hes safe in America surrounded by his yes men , but theres a rumour that Iraq have posted an 80 million contract on his life . now all his bodyguards are looking at each other and wandering who might cash in . But personally i figure there are an awful lot of people ordering land mines on Amazon and eying his golf courses with interest .

Meanwhile our esteemed leader is missing in action , theorys include major heart attack while mounting a dumb blond . I prefer that hes had to be sent for reprogramming due to a major software problem , he cant stop shouting Get Brexit Done at inopportune moments .  Theyve found he has insufficient memory to store a complete speech ? or they cant stop him flinging his arms around while mumbling in Greek .
Cummings meanwhile is running the show while they 3d print a new leader. With Raab as his current puppet , never has a bloke looked so worried that hes going to say something wrong .

Meanwhile in the real world that actually matters to us , wasnt xmas TV shocking ? Endless repeats into infinity and beyond . Dr Who has turned into a bad Scooby Doo !! We started watching Dracula and gave up , to mumbly , dire accents and where did all the nuns spring from ?  In the event the boys let me loose on their Netflix accounts , thousands of programmes but again dire TV is universal .  Im quite liking a lot of Korean stuff and some rather good historical Chinese epics of an afternoon while getting on with yet more of the neverending patchwork quilt that has been going on for a couple of winters . Mr BH doesnt notice, ive found his headphones so he can sit and shout into his radios quite happily for hours

To Infinity And Beyond

So welcome to a new decade , has much changed ? Its been a funny old Xmas season , we had a surprise death in the extended family , one of the boys aunties who lived a couple of villages away . She was disabled and had major health issues anyway, but she was killed by a sore throat that turned into pneumonia and sepsis in the space of a few hours . There seems to be a lot of this locally and people are dropping like flies . It being xmas , everybody in the close family was far to busy stuffing the turkey so it fell to nice son to be with her at the end and cope with her alcoholic partner who was in shock . Not great when he had some viral throat bug that was leaving him like the walking dead that he had kindly brought to our house for Xmas .
My mother decided to do her best to ruin xmas by spewing her own special brand of venom at me , she informed me that she was spending xmas with the Tory working classes and wouldnt it be better if i killed myself and my partner , we are just a burden on the likes of her and our children and the state . And a Merry Xmas To You Mother .  I think her booze delivery hadnt arrived on time . So once again shes changing her will to the cousins who had invited her for xmas , I think theyd seen the advert on the telly with the nice lonely little old lady that you invite over , hope they had a good xmas once she started on the wine .
So ive not been around much on line , i now have nursy duties for Mr Bah Humbug as he now has the throat bug , which he is convinced is about to kill him .  Dont think so , we have the sepsis leaflet on the fridge theyre popping them in your perscription bags at the moment .  He has a bit of a temperature , swollen glands and a big dose off im doomed topped off with galloping hypochondria . Ive got him gargling on anything vile i can mix up and im not to gently stuffing a thermometer in his ear everytime he whinges . 
Cant wait till he passes it on to me ....ho hum ...life goes on .

Xmas To Go

So all i need to buy now is sprouts , everything is done and dusted bought over the last few months a bit week by week ,  meanwhile my annual xmas morbidness has set in , so this is the last post before the great event , i know you all enjoy the annual turkey fest so i will let you all enjoy .
Mr BH did comment that if we won the lottery would i feel any better about the season , probably not , it just isnt there for me , its a void emotion .
As a child there was nothing to look forward to just endless drunken antics from my mother ,  having to pretend that you were having a great time , stick a smile on for the relatives as you were wheeled out in your ghastly party frock .
When the kids were small i made the effort and stuck that smile on again , watched all that fun  , they never did without , we wernt well off but the excitement was there for them.
So having stuck that smile on all my life ive reached that stage where i dont even try anymore i just hibernate till its over with , cook a big dinner and watch them all enjoy it .
The highlight of xmas thus far is winning a couple of little prizes , a bottle of prosecco that i dont drink , four pairs of socks ever useful and 10 dvds of classic movies when i have no way of playing them ...lol...the kids inform me they have a DVD player in a box somewhere so thats me sorted .

Moving On

Some people wonder what makes a lifetime Labour supporter , your either born to it or hard times take you there . My dad back in the 30s had his dad do a runner with my grans younger sister , left my gran with 7 kids and nothing back in the days before the welfare state , my gran was humiliated and shunned by people all her life due to this as if it was her fault . she struggled on but the thing that broke her was the death of her daughter to Diphtheria, the doctor refused to come out because they were poor and she died in my grans arms. He dad never forgot this and we all had it drilled into us every election , now im sure you think this is just another of my socialist rants but oddly not  .
Its a vaccinate your kids soddin rant , there have been cases of Diptheria this year in this country !!
If the NHS crumbles and goes private can you imagine them stopping vaccinating kids unless you can pay ?
Trump is currently refusing to vaccinate kids from flu that is killing them in the border internment camps , kids have died and hes withholding vaccines to score political points. Crappy world that we live in isnt it? 

Well Thats Different

If anyone had told me that i would have woken up to miners voting Tory i would have thought i was in an alternate reality . So thats it we now have Minny Trump at the helm , we will shortly be the 53rd state .  Not sure where this country is going but hey thats what what was voted for .
Prepared to give the bloke a chance , but bear in mind , delivering Brexit for the salivating masses may not be the easy ride he thinks .
Thankyou to Jeremy for giving those of us at the bottom of the heap hope for a little while , may your allotment be filled with adoring youngsters prepared to learn that there is an alternative , sorry if that came out a bit creepy and Gary Glitterish.
So where do we go from here ?
We need to educate our young to have compassion and to think for themselves , to be able to say that things are wrong and immoral , to stand out from the crowd and not become a part of the mob . They are our hope for the future , the present is looking very grim .

Election Time

Well the will to blog is dwindling with xmas on the horizon , nothing new there im afraid . its just an even more depressing xmas spirit than usual .
The election process has degenerated into he said, she said .  But i will say this we have spent an awful lot of time using the NHS in the last few years with my other half and his strange medical emergencies.  The huge furor over the child on the floor in A&E  is a bit of a strange one , weve seen plenty of kids curled up on coats on the floor of A&E and in the chairs , weve visited when theres been so many puking kids in A&E its standing room only and pensioners were still waiting for transport at 3am when the clinic they visited finished at 2pm  . When the ambulances are queing down the road to drop people off .  The staff deserve medals on a daily basis , but people get seen they get treated and nobody is asked whether they can afford it .  The NHS has been betrayed by every party for years it cant be run on the cheap .  But we can be sure that Boris plans to sell it off to someone , to many people are living to long because of the NHS and him and his band of elitist twerps dont have to use it so they dont care if it founders .
 Every service and facility we have had to use has been 10 times worse for being given over to private companies , from the risk averse surgeons who will only help those who are the perfect patients who will give them the wonderful figures that show to prove  how much money they are saving .  But if you offer to pay suddenly all the reasons they cant help you vanish. Centralisation of services where you travel miles to see someone for 5 minutes.  GPs who dont have the time to treat anyone , its endless .
Needing the NHS comes to all of us eventually think long and hard where you put that cross

Election Special ?

So last night we had the jolly Mr Farage meeting Andrew Neil on the box , what a cockwomble  the man who has single handedly screwed up the UK voting system and with great glee thinks its wonderful. I think if nothing else i grasped that he is another Tory Light for those who cant quite stomach Boris and his Mafia .  So on the morning of the 13th im sure we be looking at another hung parliament without any clear majority as Boris joins the Lib Dems led by Veruca Salt in raising the flag on another Tory Reich .
However i think the young vote will make a big difference if they can get out of bed and shake off their apathy and not think that Jolly Boris is a bit of a lad . 
One thought, Boris as leader isnt appetising to the female vote ,  a serial womaniser , who left his wife to face cancer alone , has a weakness for vacuous blondes and a trail of offspring here there and everywhere just doesnt  do it for most .

I still think theres plenty of room for things to swing in either direction in this election ,  somebody did post that the only interview that Boris will give is with Mr Tumble,  nobody can pin this obnoxious git down , waving your arms and waffling and never answering a question will only go so far .   It just takes someone to back him into a corner over some triviality and the real Boris may well shine through, not that anyone will report it except on Channel 4
