Puke

Theres something about Bank Holiday Weekends brings out the best in this house , munchkin sitting duties since thursday .  Saturday night Mr Bah Humbug managed to fall out of bed somehow , then couldnt wake me up , he woke the rest of the house up but i didnt hear a thing , so now hes lecturing everyone within earshot about what a shit carer i am ..lol , he was telling his mate yesterday who said , did he ever consider that im knackered from looking after him . The blank expression said it all .
Hes black and blue but he'll live and hes sleeping well due to the industrial painkillers.
Just to make matters even more fun the munchkin got a stomach bug that he passed on to me, so now im even more shattered,  up since 5 trying to catch the washing mountain up, drinking tons of cuppas just so i can tackle the deep clean of the wetroom I just threw a load of towels and bedding in there at 2am , cant do with MR BH catching this . I was supposed to be at the doctors today so i will ring them and cancel .
so this weekend ive not been far , missed the Jumble and popped into Woodhall first thing to get some bread and milk and it was the Bowls Club Car Boot at 8am it was very quiet so i toddled round and spent a whole £1 on a cross stitch kit , its all very middle class pensioners , really good quality stuff at rock bottom prices , by half past 8 it was heaving and i was heading home .
So the munchkins now stuck at home with granny for a couple of days , they have to be off school for so many days if theyre sick , so if were both a bit more alive tomorrow i have a garden slave..lol

Busy Bee

So the blog is dying of neglect at the moment , housing fun for useful son , hes found a flat , where he wanted to be , then they want a years rent up front  and somehow hes borrowed this , then its endless checks , it would seem that they wernt keen because hes a single male , trying to explain that hes a single male whos main interests are cars and steam engine rallys , not sex drugs and rock and roll  has been fun , nope hes not your average 24 year old male hes just quiet and nice , but we are getting there . I think its this business with the law changing on June the 1st where they will be unable to charge upfront fees , its causing panic among letting agents and landlords so theres very little property on the market at the moment . One bedroom flats are at a premium  due to the bedroom tax , its not a tiny flat its above Victorian shops in the center of town which means its going to be fun moving his stuff in , everythings ready to roll, the usual family and friends whip round , he doesnt need much, theres all his stuff here, another friend has donated a washer  as he says he can manage with a a mattress and a microwave for now . So im just tapping my foot waiting for him to get the keys then i can have my house back ...lol

Then you spot a local free ad on Facebook ,  none working sewing machine , so within an hour your picking it up ..lol . Turns out to be a 1970s heavy duty singer in a table and it works but then it started running on its own and pothering clouds of smoke out of of the foot...lol  that woke Mr Bah Humbug up ...lol  he does get in a panic but its a familiar problem and the little part is on order for not a lot of expense .  Not a clue what im doing with her yet , ive not got the space , ive got a few machines for various purposes already , you cant denote them to charity because theyre electric  and it would be a shame to break it for parts .  Munchkin keeps batting his eyelashes at it , he killed his posh beginner machine earlier this year , hes still fascinated with all things crafty so once i have the space i may run her in for him .

This week theres a village Jumble Sale Billinghay 2pm church hall Victoria Street for those of us who need our Jumble Fix

Dizzy

Well im away with the fairies at the moment so dizzy walking about is fun after 3 weeks i was offered a nurse appointment by the GPs , saw the little boy nurse practitioner because we still have no GP cover . So it seems my latest blood tests have showed up something strange , but being as my blood tests my whole life have been strange its not a worry to me .
So it would seem that my liver function and kidney function are perfect but my blood sugar is sky high , the three dont happen so hes baffled , but hes decided to double my diabetes medication which if they do this leaves me in a right state , so im currently spaced out and dizzy , plus attached to the toilet on a scary basis , got to go back on Monday for more blood tests. I did suggest he read back in my notes , which theyve found some more of after 18 months . So hes scrolling through the back story theyve found , he goes oh shit and says you need to see the GP and a hospital referral...Thankyou  ive been trying to get a referral for over a year ....might take an awful long while to get that GP appointment
In the interim im binge watching Torchwood and getting on with a mountain of mending and a bit of puter but not much because it seems to make me more nauseous ...ho hum
But my part of the garden planting has been achieved the rest can be left to the munchkin , hes a remarkably capable veg gardener for 10

Sunshine

Is this some miracle? a gorgeous sunny Bank Holiday ?
So its been a potter in the garden , car boot sale , eat loads kind of holiday , think thats the plan for today as well . Good Friday the munchkin came to help with the only digging that i do, i asked him to dig 3 potato trenches which he has helped with before , left him to it came back to 3 graves with a mole in the bottom still digging frantically but he was happy so i left him to it then quietly filled them in after he had gone, so thats the Orkney Blue and Pink Fir apples in . relayed the ground cover for the strawberry bed and popped in 30 runners , kept a few back in case some dont take but most appear to be perking up already.
Other half has been fishing with his brother , had to laugh his brother hooked a duck . left them to it and went to Stickney car boot even at 8am it was packed out , walked miles bought little , took useful son to carry and bought not a lot , a couple of plants and something thats been on the wish list for ages a 1970s Woolworth swing ball unused and boxed , proper metal one that the cat thinks is wonderful and should amuse Munchkin once hes back .
did the little village car boot yesterday , came back with a trifle bowl to replace the one i broke and some knitting mags with kits in and wool  , i quite like cover kits when we go fishing its enough to keep me amused for a few weeks .
The boys have promised me some labour today so more garden chores may be completed , a very steady Easter

Steam Lack Of

So so bored at the moment , useful sons never ending housing problems , not being able to move for his stuff .
Plus just to add to matters Young Baldrick problems are just bubbling under the surface waiting to erupt
Other halfs "wanna go fishing every day"  which he isnt physically up to , plus once a week is a pleasure 3 times plus is a bloody chore .
Being endlessly skint .
Neighbour problems, bunch of ableist bastards . It would seem we are the streets scroungers.
Tied down with the school holidays and the munchkin, no we cant afford endless bleedin day trips out , but hes well enough to fish, not well enough to do anything else anyone else would want to do...grrrrrrr.
Yes ive hit the annual hate the world season , tourist season has arrived , cant buy a bleedin bread loaf anywhere, cant get parked anywhere, caravans !!
Food waste, we dont have the money for food waste . But nobody seems to want what we can afford to eat these days , but a certain greedy git is mowing through 3 times the amount of food everyone else is , yes you will eat lots of tinned food , quit moaning and actually help with the garden tossers im struggling big time .

Think I need medicating ...lol ..or a new family

Infinite Brexit

Do you get the impression that we will all go to our graves tapping our feet waiting for Brexit to take place? Its obviously been decided that if they drag it on forever more Leave voters will die and the youngsters will  all be gagging to be totally  European, dont be surprised if the next move in this endless saga is to bring in the vote in for 16 year olds most of whom would vote for anything that doesnt  upset their phone contract.
In the real world , useful son went to pick the keys up for his flat only to be told that he couldnt have it because he has insufficient income ..beggers belief that the Housing Association would let it get to this stage before deciding this , they informed him he cant bid on further Housing Association properties unless his income doubles , but even if he gets a job at minimum wage it isnt enough for him to be able to rent even with Housing Benefit, because the Housing Benefit will only afford him enough to pay a Council Rent and theres no available one bedroom properties  in this council area ..AARRGGGHHHHHH

A Mother Tale
My mother in her infinite wisdom , decided to tell me the tale of her bothersome vagina last night , i was crying with laughter on the phone so she got a huff on and hung up on me .
Relationships between my mother and the medical profession tend to be a bit fraught due to her having no filters on her mouth , after her recent brush with them and her alzheimer's assessment which reached the diagnosis we as a family had reached years ago that shes just a right old bag who likes her red wine to much .
Anyway back to her vagina ..apparently its turned into a prune , this has been caused by her giving birth to me????
So she decided to go to Superdrug in need of a cure asked the teenage assistant where to find lubricant , then went off on one because the assistant gave her a funny look. From what i can gather said assistant sent her home with some weird sexual lubricant that contained glitter she then went to the hospital the following day for her Consultant  to ask her why shed dosed her lady bits with enough glitter to lubricate a xmas tree . At this stage in the conversation im crying on the floor and just couldnt help myself  and said have you considered a tin of WD40 next time... She hung up

Are We or Arent We?

So are we Europeans this week or not , who knows , what huge differences to my life has all the Brexit business made?  Apart from my cupboards running over not a jot . Foods more expensive but it never goes down in price does it .
So its the school holidays and the munchkin will doubtless drive me mad for the next fortnight , but im well prepared, he can feast on endless cereal and a lonely case of Bacon noodles , theres garden chores he can help with , lots of planting , a huge garden bonfire the first decent day we get and if hes not careful i could easily get the fence treatment out and he and his evil minions can paint ..lol
On a positive note after nearly 9 months, useful son has been offered a housing association flat ,he went to look round on Friday and all being well he should hear  this week baring major disaster when his move in date is , then i may get my house back !!!
Subject to my back and leg ever getting any better , shingles still popping up now and again i can get on with a bit of decorating , only slapping paint around , just need some one coat gloss as i have all the other paint , oh and a load of roller sleeves, the mice having enjoyed the ones in the shed .
Our GPs appear to be going from bad to worse , i was there for a nurse appointment and there was standing room only , big notice on the door saying they had no GPs available and they were working on it . eventually the little doctor who is on maternity leave turned up but she could only stop till her next feed , the other surgery was being run by the nurse practioner , they couldnt even get locum cover as the nurse said they have 6000 patients but never any doctors , noticed another big notice stating they would not be doing any home visits for the foreseeable future ......
So if i vanish it may be because i cant get in at the doctors , but its more likely im doing a house move and gimping myself to death ...lol

Old Biddy Brexit 2

I thought id pop in for a chat while im defrosting the freezer in a bid to squeeze more food into it .
Brexit ? didnt you thing the best comment on Parliament was the climate change folks gluing there bare arses to the glass of the public gallery ?  full marks for such a cheeky idea
Now ive come to the conclusion that in a vain effort to stop Brexit the bunch of sponging loafers we call MPs will vote nay to anything put before them , shame they didnt vote nay when it came to their own pay rise isnt it ?
Having stuck the label of scroungers onto every disabled person in the country we are paying these privileged tossers of all parties , with a few notable exceptions . I object to the fact that were paying the gas and electric bills on their private homes when disabled and those on Universal Workhouse sit wrapped in a duvet just to get by . I dont object to them paying millions for a big luxury apartment in the US to use for trade negotiations , its probably cheaper and more secure than using hotels .
What im trying to say and probably putting it very badly, is that im aware that you cant do Government on the cheap these days but that personnel common sense should dictate to MPs that we shouldnt be paying for their luxury bog rolls while folks are wipping their arses on leaves . We need to elect MPs with a moral compass of whatever party we choose . The current bunch have shown theres little concern for anyone but themselves , millionaires getting us to pay for redecorating their flats is taking the piss.  This is what matters to people , the price of food and keeping their jobs and a roof over their heads , we are past caring what our brain dead superiors thoughts are .

Limbo

Its bad when you trail out to your first car boot this year just because it was a nice day then find there is nothing you desire , im discovering that i have little interest in shopping these days . Trip to the Christian coffee shop the other day and they were having a 5 for a pound sale , struggled to find 5 items , not due to the quality or size just uninterested , 2 winter coats a cardi and a couple of shirts for sarcastic son , one coat i love the other is drab and i need to find inspiration i think, but ive got till next winter...lol
So now the gardening begins the conifers are proving a nightmare , Mr Bah humbug is all excited and wants to go fishing my least favourite chore , so very busy in the real world .
The Brexit Limbo continues ever on , dont give a stuff anymore , nobody cares except the vocal Remainers , we've had the farcical petition , the pointless March , more changes of mind than Kim Kardasian in a clothes shop . Lying politicians to the left and the right , billions of Brexit Pies purchased . Lots of billions made by those who have billions , starving of the poor .
Somehow you just know that whatever gets into power next the first thing they will do is remove the right to vote for those on benefits and those outside London ...im hoping that im wrong but give it 10 years and see

Out To Play

My daughter staged an intervention and took me to Boston yesterday , we didnt warn Mr BH just ..byeeeeee as we left the building , hes on clingy child at the moment and driving me mad , we went out yesterday and he found that hes struggling to even do the hand controls on his buggy , so the sulk is upon us , his condition is degenerative , he knows this ,but every step along that road fills him with despair .
So my daughter went to court and i went for a little hobble  round Boston, its not changed a lot in the last year , still full of Eastern European veg workers , but it has a good selection of Polish supermarkets some quite large , so being me i posed as a Polish granny and visited a few , they are wonderful , theres huge butchery and deli counters and one even had a bakery that was gorgeous . I picked up bags of dried stuff for the store cupboard that was cheaper than the ethnic aisle in the big UK supermarkets , and stuff to try just because it looked interesting... lol
Then i did a muslim fruit and veg shop, again wonderful selection , its cucumbers with everything this week they were so cheap..lol ..but its the service that you notice, theyre polite they will lift and carry stuff for you , suggest alternatives etc etc .. I quite liked having a big smiling beardy bloke carrying my shopping basket , so different to the surly service in chain UK supermarkets. There are small independent shops that are English that provide excellent service but theyre few and far between where even small towns have excellent ethnic shops these days , give them a try its not all Vodka and dodgy fags

Light Relief

So off to the pussy jumble i went , quite quiet this week mainly because it was a Spring Fayre , bit daft really as its just a jumble with added  tombola and raffle , usual all fighting over the clothes , while i picked up a rather nice bit of 60s luggage , a bundle of teaspoons , the mystery of the teaspoon stealer has never been solved in this house . And a few more chalet school books for a friend .  Still flicking through last weeks giant knitting pattern haul , current favourite, furniture for Barbie sized Dolls , might have a go at this . Plus knitted nativity sets , just need a kick up the arse and some motivation at the moment , if nothing else ive discovered that living in an Amazon Warehouse full of furniture and boxes is eating my soul .

Daughters birthday prompted a road trip to an open day at a wool warehouse in Leicester ,  didnt buy anything daughter was quite restrained and her friend as well , very very cheap but i need more wool like a hole in the head , i suppose someone could crochet me an organic coffin when i go ...hint hint

Just been outside and rebuilt the whirly washing line after its death during Storm Gareth , its amazing what can be achieved with the upright from the munchkins old bunk bed and a bit of brute force , will rebuild it properly once the weather is warmer but for now its up and looks odd but with the price of the wretched things, for a proper metal one rather than the alloy ones that dont last a month in the windswept lands it will serve ..lol

The Old Biddy Brexit

So weve had all these terribly important votes and nobody is any the wiser as to what the hell is happening .
So heres my widely inaccurate theories and prophecies having read the last tea leaves we shall ever see.
29th March we leave the EU with No Deal ...the chances that 27 countries will agree to an extension are virtually nil

The chaos will begin , mainly due to the government and its grey suited mandarins efforts to ignore this scenario because they thought they would have figured a way to wriggle out of this event .
The majority of those who voted no to a No Deal Brexit will sit smugly by filling there nails and saying we voted against this its not our fault you cant blame us .

Immediate food shortages will be caused  by people panicking, then in inner city areas we will have the usual riots , after all nothing helps with hunger pangs like a 50 inch plasma .  Manchester police will suit up big Ron and solve the problem with there usual gentle touch while the Met is still doing a risk assessment .
Mrs May will of course read the Riot Act and call in the troops . just in London.

The Fuel shortages will kick in within the first week except for essential services , some helpful chimp will suggest we all get on our bikes and nobody goes out except for essential things like work .
Mrs May will cling grimly on, shes here for the duration folks .

Jeremy Corbyn may well meet an accidental death , killed by rioters possibly .

Tony Blair will offer to lead the party to victory , doesnt he always .

Give it a couple of years
Boris Johnson enters no 10 , bringing a return to the Benny Hill era for women , Larry the Cat packs his bags and leaves because hes heard what happens to pussies where Boris is ...

Feel free to add your own tea cup readings

Lies Lies and More Damned Lies

So todays the big day?  we find out what the hell theyre all dithering about at and if were all about to return to the neolithic days?  Well we've made it back to Victorian Values under the current government theyve achieved!! Ho hum
Im off to buy a couple of tin openers ready for the glorious future we face , that and a huge bar of chocolate for personnel stress relief .
Sometimes I think the EU dont grasp Northern Ireland at all , they just dont see the logic of having a border at all and would rejoin the two parts with an edict from Brussels . I hate to say this but they may get a learning curve on that score , the IRA make Isis look like beginners and they do bear a grudge somewhat .
On the dont stockpile front , I had a thought , if stuff is held up at the docks or the EU decide to sanction in one form or another , have the allright jacks ever had experience of the weird limbo that is being laid off from work ? You have a job but they dont want you this week ? You cant claim a pennies help from anywhere . then theres those on a zero hours contract that has never had problems with it but can now find there hours cut to bog all but youre still classed as employed even if you work one hour?
I live in the bog end of nowhere , small shops are miles away so we do have to be more self reliant than most , ive one little chest freezer , we lose power quite a lot out here so not worth risking more frozen food , what its filled with is yellow label and enough weird cheese to feed an army . Im building a mountain of pet food and enough tinned beans to feed the five thousand , for the rest ive steadily increased my dried ingredient purchases just an extra pack here and there thats what my budget runs to and since xmas its a fair amount . just doing a shopping list for today its not very exciting but does include a couple of tin openers , sweet potatoes, they keep really well somewhere cold and dark and tinned fruit for the hunger gap season the garden provides tons in season , trip to the pound shop for a few more garden bits...lol

Pussy Power

So ive pretty much come to the end of building my Universal Workhouse food mountain , yesterday i added yet more cat food with the last £6 in my bank account . The discount Store in Lincoln has been selling bags of some posh cat kibble for £2 a throw , its a grain free piddle problem variety so ive built a small mountain of it . That and Tesco own brand gravy tins are the food of choice for the three wise furry virgins.
Ive now progressed to the ordering online of stuff i need for around the house , new bracket for the yardbrush found , now need to sort another outside clothes dryer as the wind snapped mine yesterday , i think it can be repaired , they all think im mad ...lol ...Must add more glue and thread to my list of things to find .
Deeply impressed with the cat jumble yesterday , it was a well supported hideous bunfight , lots of shouting and pushing and shoving over the clothes , didnt go near that side at all but contented myself with the books and bric a brac , found something i wanted that had only gone on the list the day before..lol ...good quality metal big bread bin , you know repro antique thing , came with tons of free dust .  Wanted one to store all my flour in , for some reason a mouse has taken a liking to flour in the cupboard , the small furry destroyer has now been sleeping in there for two days , wont know if shes got it because she eats them , little Doris has turned into queen of the mousers , but she has now left the cupboard and i have a bread bin . £1.00 wisely spent methinks .  The only other thing i bought was a huge file of what appears to be toy knitting patterns ive not had a chance to look through them yet , job for this miserable afternoon with a cup of tea and a slice of cake . They did post online last night that theyd raised over £800 .
So its a wet drippy Sunday with the much needed downpour , i may have a baking day , ive manky bananas need using up and dregs of bags of dried fruit so boiled fruit cake looks a good idea or even tea bread ..oops thats another thing for my jumble list another silicon loaf tin

Brexit Tales

Project Fear is going really well for Mrs May isnt it , so many folks not coping at all well with the extra stress piled on at every turn .
Weirdest Brexit moment of the week , went to the post office to pop a parcel in , one of our little rural branches in the Coop , thought it was odd there was a chuntering queue a mile long . Its usually a couple of people queue with one little woman on the counter .  At the counter is a rather posh hunter welly, horse piss smelling, lady of a certain age. Getting on her high horse because she couldnt withdraw all her cash and exchange it for Euros , apparently you will  make a big profit on the exchange rates once the pound plummets come Brexit , shed seen it in the paper?  The discussion was going on and on , she was ranting about how it would be quite easy at her bank and we were all thinking , sod off there then . She was told she must order the currency ,they only carry £300 on site , or she could just do it online or over the telephone with her bank a good half hour later she flounced off as fast as her wellies could carry her , chuntering merrily .  The next bloke steps up to the counter and says can i have some Euros , the look from the cashier should have turned him to stone, as he smiled and said im kidding i just want a book of stamps......we all cracked up laughing

Just Because

Just thinking about sticking a note on the fridge saying ..The ideal mothers day gift is gin ...lol ...ive made a bottle last 9 months but im turning into my mother and cant face Brexit without it !! must also add no posh gin just real mothers ruin Gordans
Im staring out the back window at the blinding sunshine knowing that its a warmth illusion , its bleedin freezing out there with a polar wind and i need to go and hang washing out in it , a womans work never been done , tons of garden jobs need doing , everybodys litter to pick up after the rather breezy night we had . just debating going to get some wood treatment .
So whats todays plan ? not doing a whole lot ive got shingles blisters on the other leg now , not really painful this time but rather yucky , so that means im infectious once again . Had a triage call with the practice nurse

I think ive got shingles again  on the opposite leg

No it cant be shingles you only get it on one side

Take ibuprofen and rest , draw a ring round it to see if the infection is spreading , if your no better in 3 days or if you experience a fever or breathing problems ring us .

Didnt expect much more from them they would hardly want to see you if its infectious , you can get shingles on both sides i looked it up. Its also very common this year triggered they think by this latest batch of flu vaccine , mine started a couple of days after i had it ...ho hum

Im So Bored

I think my boredom levels are at an an all time high.  Brexit ....the most boring major political event in modern history , the biggest Hotel California event ever, is what 4 weeks away ...maybe?  or who knows ?
The whole country is like a giant mushroom farm , sat in the dark wondering what the fuck are they playing at , nobody can plan anything , nobody can make decisions , our so called more informed quadrant in the Palace of westminster seem to be to busy squabbling and point scoring to tell anyone anything , thats if they know anything ?  My votes on just putting them all on the last ferry heading out and replacing them with a load of turnips .

Replacing  them with the Parish Council from Little Muttering  might be the best idea .

So George your in charge of Defence now , wernt you once the storeman at RAF Wittering ? Theres a bunch of lads come back from a three year holiday in Turkey they worked at the Hotel Isis you can have them

Raj , im sorry youve got to sort out the farms and fisheries , youve more idea than most of us . Bert and Ernie can help theyve been in charge of mowing the cricket pitch for 20 years

DWP anyone ...thought not , nobody wants that poison chalice .

Pencil Annie in for the NHS she used to be a nurse , so she will have more of an idea . Might need help with the 10 containers of Paracetemol  for the disabled though .

Theres plenty of bodybags theyre giving them out in Tescos , but dont forget we musnt have funeral pyres in domestic gardens , no diesel for the firetrucks and all that .

Anymore suggestions for the next meeting?

Check List

So im running round prepping and scaring the family into doing the same...lol ...my mothers response? ive being getting an extra crate of wine every week since xmas , bless Brexit on the piss .
Actually im just kidding im not prepping for Brexit , im prepping for Universal Workhouse , I would normally be stocking up now as i dont have to pay the water rates till April but i expect this devious sly government will try a huge Universal Credit push , hoping that nobody will notice the extra deaths it incurs and use Brexit as the excuse .
I did ask my daughter about her views on a second referendum , she is a staunch Remainer but she said that in the event of a second referendum she would vote leave on the grounds of democracy , we voted the powers that be should accept that . Didnt expect that one, but it shows she was well brought up...lol
Meanwhile im quite enjoying spreading wit and wisdom on the 48% Preppers group on Facebook , come and join in , theres so many panicked people on there who need talking down to common sense and between you lot theres about a 1000 years of common sense and hard times that at a time like this its good to share around.  Havent quite got my head around the dopey ones who are buying there third freezer , have 100 Frey Bentos in the cupboard  and own 10 cases of chick peas , a thing theyve never used before . But the attitude seems to be we must buy as much as we possibly can , because if nothing happens we can always afford to give it to the Food Bank ..go figure . Theres also those on a limited income who are crapping themselves because they dont have the money to stock up , there anxiety levels are scary .
The more i look at the current situation , the more i realise that it wont be food that will be the problem , we may have lack of variety and the cities may well struggle with civil unrest . The big problems i think will be lack of consumer goods , daft shortages of things that are sitting on a dockside because theyre not a priority , the stuff you just order off amazon because its broke or you want an upgrade . Cant see this being a problem for me, but for huge swathes of the population who are used to having what they want when they want it this isnt going to go down well . The rude awakening that the £1 in your pocket cant buy what you want here and now ....

Prepare for the Apocalypse

Just kidding ...No i admit ive been neglecting you all , due to apocalypse duties. You know desperately scouring the  country for Fray Bentos Pies and tins of beans takes your energy away .
I did like one of the press horror stories , that we will have to eat mountains of kale and leeks because they will be the only fresh veg around , shock horror , we may have to eat seasonal veg for a while ? That and tons of mushrooms because we grow most of the EUs supply and they cant be delayed by customs.
So what are you all stocking up on ? ive bought extra cat food because its not quite rabbit season yet , then the furry scroungers can pretty much feed themselves , except for Miss Penny of course , who finds the art of killing rather blase and for the plebs .
Garden wise ive not started anything yet , ive a feeling that winter hasnt done with us yet .  Need to get a new propagator lid ordered , nobody smashed it !! Seeds ordered this morning , heavy on the beans and peas this year they can always be dried easily as well , ordered Ransome seeds ,the plan is to toss them round at the very bottom of the garden and let them do their own thing , they can stink the place out in peace there, broad beans ordered thanks to the mice , plus a few more odd herbs for the collection.
First major job , move the strawberry bed,so i need to pot loads of runners on , more nut bushes to plant on to replace the hedge chopped down by Charlie Chainsaw next door , he has now fortunately split up with his missus , who informs me its because he wants to be a playboy , she doesnt appear to be missing him much ..lol
Jumble Sale wise i spent a whole £1 this week on some Star Wars pyjamas for the munchkin to grow into and new to me plastic plates that keep on vanishing into bedrooms!!
Theres a bowls club Jumble this Saturday at Washingborough not certain of the time some say 1 , some say half 1 , so i will camp out for that one , theres not a whole lot on my jumble list this year , next size up for the munchkin a few bits and bobs for me , garden tools being the main one , munchkin needs

Sale

Its the start of the Jumble Sale season properly this week , Washingborough Community Center 12.00 in aid of pussies , not sure if im going because theres an auction that isnt online at Market Rasen, it says its antique but this one is notorious for lumping box lots together for next to nothing and theres often a lot of household stuff among it , daughter is taking the afternoon off so we can go take a look at the viewing this afternoon ,  I might leave a couple of cheapie commission bids , you never know , then i could go to the jumble .
The sunshine has made me go outside and try to decide what to do in the garden this year , still lots of general heavy stuff needs doing , but i need some slave help for that , veg wise i need to have a think , we need the veg and the munchkin likes helping so there wil be some but not sure how big an area this year , who knows .
So im off o go and get on now , dont forget the pussies
